Spa Etiquette

At A Signature Day Spa, we have set out to bring you an environment where the highest levels of skin and body care are provided to nurture the well-being of mind, body, and spirit. Infusing Western modalities with knowledge of Eastern healing,  A Signature Day Spa is able to tailor each treatment to any individual’s needs.

It is our goal to make a difference in the lives we touch by offering the highest level of service by trained professionals in the most relaxing environment for our clients.

Reservations

In order to ensure that you obtain your desired appointments, we recommend scheduling your appointment as far in advance as possible to ensure availability. To accommodate your desired appointment a credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. Gift Cards may also be used in lieu of a credit card to hold your appointment. We hold this information as part of our cancelation policies and only make necessary charges  to your account on the date of your scheduled service. Details of our cancelation policy are provided below.
*Please notify the spa coordinator of any allergies or sensitivities to aromas or ingredients when you schedule your appointment.

Although we offer planned spa packages for your convenience, you are welcome to combine any of our spa and salon services for a custom package that meets your needs.

Cancellations

We understand that plans can change and unexpected circumstances can arise, so we strive to accommodate our clients with flexibility. However, please be mindful that when appointments are forgotten or canceled without sufficient notice, it affects our ability to offer the time slot to other clients who may be waiting for services. Therefore, we have implemented the following policy:

  1. Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice or no show to appointment will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.
  2. Appointments made within the 24-hour period are non-refundable.
  3. A credit card deposit transaction will be required to reserve the appointment time.
  4. For group bookings (3 or more people) or packages, a credit card must be provided to hold the reservation. Group bookings or packages not canceled 72 hours in advance will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount.

Late Arrival

We request that clients arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to allow for check-in and relaxation, and to ensure the full duration of your treatment. In the event of a late arrival, we will do our best to accommodate you within the remaining time. However, please note that your appointment will still conclude at the scheduled time, and full service charges will apply. A Signature Day Spa also reserves the right to cancel an appointment of any client that has not arrived 30 minutes after their scheduled start time, without a refund.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Return Policy

It is our mission to provide you with the highest-quality of skin and body care products with your services. In fact, you may like these products so much that you wish to use them every day in your own home! In the event you purchase any of our spa products for home use and find them to be defective, we will exchange any products within 14 days of purchase, provided a receipt is presented. Unfortunately we cannot provide cash refunds for returned products. Instead a spa credit will be provided for any returned products to be used on any other products or spa services available here at A Signature Day Spa.

Other Policies

Group Bookings:
For parties of three or more, please contact our group coordinator, Deanna, for group booking policies and availability. We will ask for the names of each individual receiving services as well as a credit card to secure booking. A 20% gratuity will be added to all spa parties. Please inquire for fees and available dates.

Cell Phones:
We kindly ask that you turn your cell phones and pagers to vibrate upon arrival and to remember to speak in your very soft spa voice once you enter the spa. Please inform your therapist should you need to make a phone call so that you may do so without disturbing other spa guests. Cell phone use may affect the length of your spa services.

Prices & Services:
Prices and services are subject to change without notice. We will do our best to keep our clients up to date on any changes that may occur but encourage all clients to inquire about pricing and available services when booking your appointment. When booking specials from our social media, mention promo when making appointment. 

Gift Card Policy:
Gift Cards are available in any amount and may be purchased at the spa, by phone at 802-747-7726 or you may contact us below. Out of town? Too busy? No problem. We will mail your gift card to you. Unfortunately, we are unable to process any returns or reimburse any payment transactions on gift cards even if lost, misplaced or stolen. Gift cards cannot be redeemed as cash. Gift cards must be mentioned when making your appointment.

Credit Card Service Charge:
When using a credit card, a 3.5% service charge will be applied.

Gratuity:
Gratuity is not included in the price of service or spa packages, customary tipping runs 15% to 20% but is, of course, at your discretion. You may tip the therapist in the room or upon check out at the front desk with cash, check or credit card. With parties of 3 or more a 20% gratuity will be added to the final bill. When using a credit card, a 3.5% service charge will be applied. 

Check in:
We ask that you please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment time. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals. However, the length of service may be adjusted so as to not interrupt the scheduled appointments of other guests. Full price of scheduled services will apply, so please plan accordingly. Of course beyond the check in policies we invite all our guests receiving services to make full use of our relaxing environment here at A Signature Day Spa. Come early, stay late, bring a book, relax and enjoy a cup of complimentary tea, coffee, cocoa or hot cider available in our relaxation area. Couples and spa parties are more than welcome to bring wine and we will provide the glasses.

Personal Belongings:
Please leave all jewelry and valuable items at home. A Signature Day spa is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.

Spa Promotions:
Spa specials cannot be used in combination with any other offer, promotions or third party gift cards.
